U.S. State Department Issues Travel Warning for Egypt

On January 30 the U.S. State Department upgraded its travel alert for U.S. citizens to Egypt to a travel warning, following escalated demonstrations in that country.  According to the State Department, Americans in Egypt who require assistance  or who are concerned about loved ones should contact the American Embassy in Cairo:  EgyptEmergencyUSC@state.gov.
